Der Langener Bannwald ist neu besetzt!

Spätestens seit der aufwändigen Räumung der ersten Waldbesetzung 2025 ist klar: Die Politik stellt Profitinteressen Einzelner über den Erhalt des Waldes als unverzichtbaren Wasserspeicher, Frischluftproduzenten und Lebensraum der Region. Immer wieder werden Teile des Waldes zur Kiesgewinnung an das Unternehmen Sehring verpachtet und dabei vollständig zerstört.
In Mitten einer eskalierenden #Klimakrise soll der Wald Stück für Stück für Profite geopfert werden. Schon 2027 sollen weitere 6ha für den Kiesabbau fallen.

Das werden wir nicht hinnehmen. Daher haben wir den Wald nun wieder besetzt!

The Langener forest is newly squatted!

Ever since the large-scale eviction of the first forest occupation in 2025, one thing has become clear: politicians are prioritizing the profit interests of a few over the preservation of the forest as an indispensable water reservoir, source of fresh air, and habitat for the region. Time and again, sections of the forest are leased to the Sehring company for gravel extraction, resulting in their complete destruction.

In the midst of an escalating #climate crisis, the forest is to be sacrificed piece by piece for profit. As early as 2027, another 6 hectares are slated for gravel extraction.

We will not accept this. That is why we have reoccupied the forest!
